Super Bowl Blog: Patriots, Seahawks Settle Into Routines On Wednesday
CHANDLER, Ariz. (CBS) -- The travel is over, the initial press conferences are over, and media day is over. That means it's time for the two football teams here to finally start focusing on football.
Today is Wednesday, and with the sideshows now firmly in the rear-view mirror, it's time to start focusing on Super Sunday.
Of course, teams can't fully work on their craft without dealing with the media, but today, that obligation will be taken care of fairly early.
The Patriots will meet the media at 8 a.m. local time, which is 10 a.m. back home, while the Seahawks will fulfill their obligations at 10:15 a.m. local, just after noon on the East Coast.
After that, the teams will be off to practice, gearing up for the game that is just five days away.
Tuesday was a much different day from Monday in that it really felt like it was Super Bowl week. The barren streets of Monday were replaced by jam-packed streets on Tuesday, as thousands of fans arrived to take in the festivities. As you'd expect, there are a ton of Seahawks jerseys as well as a good number of Cardinals jerseys, but there really has been a thorough representation of NFL fans here in Arizona. That runs the gamut from Patriots fans to Bills fans to Raiders fans to Packers fans. They're all here taking it all in, and the atmosphere is certainly growing with each day.
As always, keep an eye on our Patriots page for the latest news and updates, and follow us on Twitter and Facebook if that's more your speed.
The week is about to hit a very steady rhythm, and it's all starting today.
