Suspect In Stoughton CVS Shooting Arrested In Boston

BOSTON (CBS) – The man who allegedly shot a teenager inside a CVS in Stoughton last week has been arrested.

Stoughton Police say 23-year-old Marcus Pierre-Louis was taken into custody in Dorchester Monday night. He allegedly had a loaded firearm at the time of his arrest. The gun will be tested to determine if it was the weapon used in the shooting at CVS.

Last Thursday, police say the 18-year-old victim was in the checkout line when three people entered the store, had words with him and shot him. Two juveniles, who have not been identified, were arrested after the shooting. The victim was shot in the shoulder and suffered a non-life-threatening injury.

Pierre-Louis will be arraigned in Roxbury District Court Tuesday morning and then transported to Stoughton. He faces various charges including attempted murder, illegal possession of a firearm, illegal possession of ammunition, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, & child endangerment.
