State Police Release Images Of Cambridge Sexual Assault Suspect
CAMBRIDGE (CBS) -- State Police have released images of a man who alleged sexually assaulted a Boston woman in Cambridge on Tuesday.
The assault occurred along Memorial Drive near the Harvard University boathouse around 2 a.m.
The man alleged assaulted the 24-year-old woman after she had left a bar. The suspect physically and sexually assaulted her, police say, and two people ran toward her after she screamed for help.
The man rode away from the scene on a bicycle.
Surveillance photos show the man wearing dark clothing.
The woman was taken to St. Elizabeth's Hospital.
The suspect is described as a white man in his late 20s or early 30s, with a stocky build, blonde or light-brown hair.
State Police continue to investigate, and they have contacted area police departments about the incident.
