3 Injured In 2 Separate Stabbings Overnight In Boston

EAST BOSTON (CBS) -- It was a busy night for Boston Police as three people were hurt in two separate stabbings across the city.

In East Boston around 1:30 a.m., a woman was taken to Mass. General Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. A man was also taken from the scene, though it was not known whether or not he was also stabbed.

Police said the stabbing happened in the 300 block of Chelsea Street. No arrests have been made.

Later, in Dorchester, a woman suffered life-threatening injuries when she was stabbed multiple times.

Boston Police said that stabbing happened on Millet Street around 2:30 a.m., and aren't sure if it happened inside or outside.

They said they arrested a male suspect in that stabbing.
