Sports Authority Plans To Close Three Mass. Stores
BOSTON (CBS) – Sports Authority plans to close several stores in New England as a part of its filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.

Sports Authority stores in Framingham, Danvers, and Holyoke will close, according to a document filed by the company as a part of its bankruptcy filing.
The company also plans to close its Nashua, N.H. store and a location in Auburn, Maine.
On Wednesday, the Colorado-based company said it expects the store closing process to take up to three months.
Sports Authority added that it plans to upgrade its remaining stores in addition to improving its website.
