Southwest Flight To Boston Diverted Due To Electrical Smell
BOSTON (CBS) - A Southwest Airlines flight to Boston was diverted Thursday after an electrical smell was detected in the cabin.
A pilot in command of Flight 319 from Atlanta diverted to Baltimore/Washington.
The captain declared an emergency and landed safely.
The airplane has been taken out of service for a maintenance review.
One hundred-thirteen customers and five crew members will fly to Boston on a different airplane.
They are expected to arrive two hours behind schedule.
