The crash happened at the intersection of Powder House Boulevard and Hardan Road at about 7:16 p.m. Friday night. Investigators believe Donovan and another woman were in a crosswalk when they were hit.

Donovan was taken to Mount Auburn Hospital where she was pronounced dead. The other victim was treated and released.

On Thursday, a Tufts University Police Officer located a truck with front-end damage on University Ave. and notified Somerville Police. The truck is registered to Clark.

He will be arraigned in Somerville District Court on Friday on charges of leaving the scene of an accident that resulted in a death.

Donovan was a beloved teacher in Watertown. Her death prompted Somerville to install flex sticks urging driver's to slow down at the scene of the crash.
