Snowmobiler Injures 2 Dogs In NH Hit And Run
ENFIELD, N.H. (CBS) – New Hampshire wildlife officials are searching for a snowmobiler accused of running over two dogs and driving away.
New Hampshire Fish and Game conservation officers said they are investigating an incident in Enfield that took place on Sunday.
Officers said the driver of a snowmobile ran over two dogs on the northern rail trail in downtown Enfield while the pets were being walked by their owner. The snowmobiler did not stop at the scene.
Monty, a 50-pound mix breed required surgery to the area around his tail and also on his front leg.
The second dog, Jackson, sustained several cuts but did not need surgery.
