Small Tornado Touched Down In NH
WARNER, N.H. (AP) — A tornado ripped through a small section of Warner, New Hampshire, damaging a barn, but missing houses and power lines.
National Weather Service meteorologist Tom Hawley says the small tornado touched down somewhere between 5:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. Thursday.

Hawley said estimated wind speed was 75 mph and it cut a swath about 100 yards wide.
Warner police say it started near the Interstate 89 interchange at Exit 9 and travelled behind the police station, through the woods and up onto Kearsarge Mountain Road.
Officer Ben Tokarz said the tornado took the roof off an unoccupied barn and took down some trees, but caused no damage to homes or power lines.
He said he was in the police station at the time and didn't even feel the wind.
