Revere Hotel Management: Guests Canceling Due To Tsarnaev Family Presence
REVERE (CBS) – Management at a Revere hotel said they have lost business since guests found out members of the Tsarnaev family had checked in on Thursday.
Revere police said they were only made aware of the Tsarnaev family's arrival hours before they landed at Logan Airport. Local police added that the FBI is in charge of security at the hotel.
Several members of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev's family are staying at the hotel until they are able to testify on the convicted Boston Marathon bomber's behalf.
Multiple guests of the Revere hotel, which is a short drive from Logan Airport, told WBZ-TV's Nicole Jacobs that the building is "packed" with security up and down the hallways.
Officers said several "pranksters" from a local radio station snuck into the building in an attempt to find the family's rooms.

One hotel guest told WBZ-TV that a co-worker was getting in the elevator when they encountered a person who identified themself as the Tsarnaev family's host.
The person who claimed to be with the Tsarnaev family asked the co-worker if they could wait for the next elevator because they were holding the current one for more members of the Tsarnaev family.
Just before noon on Friday, two vans that were used to bring the Tsarnaev family to the hotel were seen leaving the parking lot.
It appeared, however, that the vans only included the driver and not members of the Tsarnaev family.
Not among the family members in Revere is Dzhokhar's mother Zubeidat, who faces shoplifting charges if she enters the country.
Dzhokhar Tsarnaev has been convicted on all counts for his role in the 2013 Boston Marathon bombings.
The prosecution rested this week in the death penalty phase of the trial.
Tsarnaev's defense team is expected to make its case beginning Monday.
