Second SUV Sought In Fatal Dump Truck Rollover In Saugus
SAUGUS (CBS) -- Authorities are searching for a second vehicle in a deadly rollover crash earlier this month on Route 1 in Saugus.
Massachusetts State Police are asking the public for help to find a silver Grand Jeep Cherokee SUV that was traveling southbound at the time of the crash between Walnut Street and Lynn Fells Parkway on May 13 shortly after 2 p.m.
That vehicle, or a silver/gray Honda CRV SUV police sought earlier, may been present when a commercial vehicle swerved to its left and impacted a paving dump truck. The paving dump truck rolled over, killing driver John R. Thebeau, 62, of Wilmington.
Anyone who might have seen either vehicle is asked to call police as they continue their investigation.
