Woman killed in wrong-way crash on Route 3 in Duxbury
DUXBURY - A Plymouth woman driving the wrong-way on Route 3 South in Duxbury Tuesday night has died following a serious crash.
A spokesperson for Plymouth County District Attorney Tim Cruz said 49-year-old Janelle Sampey died at the scene. A woman driving the other car that was hit head-on was hospitalized.
Route 3 southbound was closed after the crash, which happened just after 9 p.m.
The crash is still under investigation, the DA's office said.
