Orange Dinosaur Has New Home On Route 1

SAUGUS (CBS) – One of the most famous residents in Massachusetts has a new home – at least temporarily.
The orange dinosaur that guarded the mini golf and batting cage complex had been a Route 1 fixture for decades before the facility closed last fall.
Now the dinosaur is on a nearby retaining wall that will become Essex Landing – an apartment and retail complex.
The developer is thinking of putting the Saugus icon next to a putting green.
