Motorcyclist In Zakim Bridge Road Rage Video Will Be Charged

BOSTON (CBS) - Massachusetts State Police say their search for a man in a road rage incident on the Zakim Bridge is over and he faces several charges.

The incident happened Monday at 2:40 p.m. on the southbound side of the bridge.

A man on a motorcycle punched and kicked a car in traffic while yelling at a driver, who recorded the confrontation on video. State Police posted it on their Facebook page and asked the public for help tracking him down.

"The suspect in this incident came to the State Police Tunnels Barracks this morning and acknowledged that he is the man in the video," they said Tuesday just after noon.

After conducting an investigation, the man will be summonsed to Boston Municipal Court to face charges of assault, threats to commit a crime, negligent operation and marked lanes violation.

His name has not been released.
