Revere Man Making Change Ends Up With $10 Million Lottery Winner

REVERE (CBS) – Looking to make change to pay for his lunch, a Revere man got much, much more.

Richard Noll needed to break a $100 bill so he could pay for his lunch in cash, the Massachusetts State Lottery said earlier this week.

So he bought two $20 scratch tickets at Lanzilli Groceria in East Boston and cashed in with a $10 million prize.

Noll will receive a one-time payment of $6,500,000, less taxes.

The Revere resident said he plans to buy a house, make some investments and take his granddaughter to Disney World.

Noll won't be the only one cashing in on the ticket. Lanzilli Groceria will receive a $50,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
