Revere Man Charged With Pointing BB Rifle During Argument
REVERE (CBS) – A Revere man was arrested after police say he pointed rifle-style BB gun from his apartment balcony at a person below.
An off-duty Revere police officer heard a commotion at a Broadway Street apartment early Monday morning.
When police arrived, they found Jamie Rodriguez, 46, allegedly pointing a weapon toward the street below from his fifth floor balcony.
Officers gave several verbal commands before Rodriguez ran into his apartment, police said.
After traffic was stopped in the area, officers entered the building and arrested Rodriguez without incident.
Rodriguez, who police say was having an argument with someone on the street, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, assault with a dangerous weapon, and possession of ammunition without an FID card.
Revere Police confiscated two BB rifles and a BB handgun from Rodriguez's apartment.
