Reports: Stevan Ridley Visiting With Dolphins
BOSTON (CBS) -- The New England Patriots have already lost one running back to free agency, and may be losing a second.
According to multiple reports, Stevan Ridley will be visiting with the Miami Dolphins on Tuesday.
Ridley, who ran for 2,817 yards and 22 touchdowns in his four seasons with the Patriots, tore his ACL and MCL back in October. It's expected that he'll sign a one-year deal this offseason, hoping to prove he's healthy and cash in on a bigger contract next offseason.
Running back Shane Vereen, who caught 11 passes for the Patriots in their Super Bowl XLIX victory, has already departed this offseason, signing a three-year deal with the New York Giants.
