Report: Stevan Ridley Visiting New York Jets
BOSTON (CBS) -- Familiarity often breeds contempt, but in the case of Stevan Ridley and the AFC East, the opposite appears to be true.
A day after visiting the Miami Dolphins, the free-agent running back is reportedly visiting the New York Jets.
ESPN's Adam Schefter reported on Wednesday that Ridley was making the visit.
NFL Network's Albert Breer added that the Dolphins and Jets are the only teams that have set up meetings with Ridley thus far.
Ridley, 26, suffered a season-ending knee injury in early October, just six games into the 2014 season. In his four-year career, he's rushed for 2,817 yards and 22 touchdowns on 649 rushing attempts, averaging 4.3 yards per carry. His best season came in 2012, when he ran for 1,263 yards and 12 touchdowns.
Ridley has played six career games against the Jets, rushing for 269 yards and two touchdowns on 77 carries.
