Report: Bruins Could Host Outdoor Game At Gillette

BOSTON (CBS) - The Boston Bruins may be playing an outdoor game in New England very soon.

With four outdoor games scheduled for next season, TSN's Darren Dreger is reporting that the Bruins are among the teams fighting for one of the eight spots.

Shawn Hutcheon of the New England Hockey Journal took it a step further, reporting that the Bruins will get an outdoor game in one of the next two seasons, and that the team would like to play at Gillette Stadium.

The Bruins were featured in the 2010 Winter Classic, hosting the Philadelphia Flyers at Fenway Park. Gillette has never hosted a hockey game, but there's little doubt it could pack all 68,756 seats for a Bruins game.
