Report: 76ers 'Ramping Up' Efforts To Get No. 3 Pick From Celtics

BOSTON (CBS) -- It's draft day, and the clock is ticking. That means the posturing and the poker faces are starting to break.

As it relates to the Celtics, they will very likely find many of the teams which were previously playing coy about wanting the No. 3 overall pick will start to show a little more interest. And according to Marc Stein and Chad Ford, that process has begun.

The 76ers own the No. 1 overall pick and are expected to take Ben Simmons. But the team is in need of much more than just one impact player, and the logjam of big men could present a golden opportunity for Danny Ainge and the Celtics to land Jahlil Okafor or Nerlens Noel.

While it's impossible to predict exactly what will happen with the C's No. 3 overall pick, this report at least provides reason to believe there will be buyers as the draft draws nearer.
