Red Sox-Indians Opening Day Postponed Until Tuesday
BOSTON (CBS) -- The Red Sox' 2016 season opener will have to wait another day.
Monday's Red Sox opener against the Indians in Cleveland was postponed due to inclement weather, and will be made up at 1:10 p.m. on Tuesday.
While there was only a 10 percent chance of rain/precipitation in Cleveland, temperatures were set to fall into the mid 20s with winds reaching nearly 20 miles per hour.
David Price was set to make his Red Sox debut, and was excited for another chance to pitch in the snow, but will have to wait until Tuesday to take the field with his new team for the first time.
