Randolph Man Held Without Bail In Fatal Shooting
RANDOLPH (CBS) -- A Randolph man charged with fatally shooting another man outside a bar early Wednesday morning has been held without bail.
Gregory Wright, 36, pleaded not guilty in Quincy District Court Wednesday morning in the murder of Scott Drake, 23, of Dedham. He was also charged with assault and battery on a police officer, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, possession with intent to distribute a class B substance (second offense) and carrying a firearm unlawfully.
The shooting took place before 1 a.m. outside the City Limits Saloon on North Main Street.
The investigation into the shooting is still underway. Wright is expected to return to court March 16 for a probable cause hearing.
