Powerball Jackpot Up To $450M
BOSTON (CBS) — The jackpot for this Wednesday's Powerball drawing has now risen to an estimated $450 million, with the cash prize option estimated at $275.4 million.
The jackpot has gone untouched for 17 consecutive drawings, last hit on November 4. This will be the highest jackpot since a $564.1 million February 11, 2015 drawing, while the highest-ever jackpot remains the $590.5 million drawing won on May 18, 2013.
Tickets for Wednesday's Powerball drawing can be purchased until 9:45 p.m. that night at any Massachusetts Lottery retailer. Drawings are held at 10:59 p.m. on every Wednesday and Saturday. Tickets cost $2 each.
