Police Seek Car Wanted In Connection To Dorchester Shooting
BOSTON (CBS) – Boston Police have released a surveillance picture of a car wanted in connection to the shooting of a seven-year-old in Dorchester.
It's believed to be a white Ford Fusion with a moonroof and a rear spoiler.
Police want to talk with the people in the car, who may or may not be connected to the shooting.
Divan Silva was shot while riding his bike on Sunday. He was released from the hospital Wednesday.
Commissioner William Evans says detectives are working around the clock to identify the shooter, but they need the community's help.
"I hope anyone with information that could help this investigation feels an obligation to come forward," Commissioner William Evans said. "The 7-year-old boy injured in this incident deserves as much. He didn't do anything wrong."
Anyone with information is strongly asked to contact District C-11 detectives at (617) 343-4335.
