Police: Woman Sexually Assaulted By 3 Men In East Boston
EAST BOSTON (CBS) -- Massachusetts State Police is investigating a report of a sexual assault Saturday night on Massport property in East Boston.
The woman reported being assaulted by three unidentified males in Bremen Street Park, according to police. She was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital for treatment.
Many people cut through the park to get to the nearby MBTA station.
"I'll definitely be more careful, but I can't alter my routine," said East Boston resident Soraya Molina. "I have to walk through to get to the T; there's no way around that."
Investigators have gathered physical evidence from the scene, and police have increased patrols in the area.
"You never know whats gonna happen," said one man walking through the park. "Things are getting more dangerous around here, the country in general. It's not something you want to hear."
Anyone who witnessed anything unusual around the park between Saturday afternoon and early Sunday morning is asked to contact the Massachusetts State Police.
