Police: Man Found Dead In Roxbury Fire Was Stabbed

BOSTON (CBS) -- A Pennsylvania man found dead in a Roxbury duplex fire on Friday was stabbed several times, Boston police said Sunday.

Police said 69-year-old Santo Alcadio Bernabel, of Hazelton, Pa., was found inside the home with multiple stab wounds. The five-alarm fire in the six-family residence at 104 Winthrop St. displaced more than 30 people and caused over $1 million in damage.

The cause of the fire is still being investigated, and the Boston Police Homicide Unit is looking into the man's death.
