Police Confirm 2 Pit Bulls In Dog Fighting Investigation Were Shot To Death
BRIDGEWATER (CBS) — Tests have determined that the two pit bulls found dead in a wooded area near Pine Street Sunday were shot to death, according to Bridgewater Police.
Both dogs also had fresh wounds around their neck and mouth and on their torso and legs, consistent with dog fighting.
A dog walker discovered the dead dogs shortly before 1 p.m. on Sunday.
Both dogs were shot at least 2 times each in the head with a .22 caliber gun.
Bridgewater Police is investigating.
