Phantom Gourmet: Brunch Spots For The Whole Family
BOSTON (CBS) - Make sure to not forget that this Sunday is Mother's Day. Dan Andelman of the Phantom Gourmet takes us to some delicious spots for brunch that moms and the whole family will enjoy.
Brunch is always busy at "Blue Moon Grill" in Wakefield where you can find Nutella-stuffed French toast, sweet potato hash browns, and peanut butter delight pancakes.
"Commonwealth" in Kendall Square, Cambridge specializes in upscale comfort food during the week, and Sundays bring decadent dishes like southern chicken and biscuits and bacon-topped sticky buns during what they call "Marky Mark and the Funky Brunch".
"Johnny's Luncheonette" in Newton Centre serves three meals a day and a big brunch on the weekends, including their famous crunchy French toast.
Mother's day is certainly one of the busiest brunch days of the year and in fact most restaurants tend to be busy from morning until night because every mom deserves a great meal.
