Pet Parade: Blue Dog Shelter In Brockton
BOSTON (CBS) -- Three dogs up for adoption at Blue Dog Shelter in Brockton were featured on the Pet Parade Sunday morning.
Michael is a four-year-old mini mastiff mix. His previous owner got sick and was no longer able to care for him. He is well-behaved, up-to-date on all vaccines, neutered, microchipped, and ready for a permanent home. Michael even knows all of his obedience commands!
Ted, a spunky, friendly rat terrier-chihuahua mix, is 10 years old and looking for a family to spend his golden years with. Ted doesn't like cats, and would prefer to be the only dog in your house. He's a bit noisy sometimes, but has a lot of love to give. Ted is neutered and up-to-date on his shots.
Eight-year-old pit bull terrier Cali just earned a Canine Good Citizen Title, meaning she passed a variety of obedience tests--including everything from sitting politely for petting to waiting patiently with a trusted person while her owner is out of sight. She needs a lot of attention, so she should be the only dog in the house. She loves to cuddle and give kisses.
Since Blue Dog Shelter has taken in more dogs than ever this year, they are facing financial hardships and asking for your help with monthly donations.
