What can be done about perimenopause symptoms?

Women who are experiencing perimenopause or menopause may develop a host of symptoms, too long to enumerate here but include mood disturbances, hot flashes and night sweats, disordered sleep, pain, or problems with libido. 

I would suggest you find a menopause specialist in your area.  For example, there is a Menopause and Midlife Program at Brigham and Women's Hospital that caters to women going through these transitions. 

They can help you understand what is happening to your body and treat your symptoms which might include a combination of lifestyle changes, cognitive behavioral therapy, acupuncture, and medication.
