Patriots Practice Report: Cannon, Sheard Absent On Wednesday

BOSTON (CBS) -- We promise, this isn't just a copy and paste job regarding New England's practice report.

But you can probably guess which three players missed Wednesday's practice, as the Patriots get set for their Sunday afternoon tilt against the Washington Redskins.

Offensive linemen Marcus Cannon (toe) and Tre Jackson (knee) and defensive end Jabaal Sheard (ankle) were all absent Wednesday, as they have been the last few weeks.

Five players were limited for New England during Wednesday's full pads practice: receivers Julian Edelman (knee) and Keshawn Martin (hamstring), running back Dion Lewis (abdomen), and offensive linemen Shaq Mason (knee) and Ryan Wendell (knee).

Four players were limited at practice on Wednesday for Washington including wide receiver DeSean Jackson, who has been out since Week 1 with a hamstring injury. Corners Chris Culliver (knee) and DeAngelo Hall (toe) and linebacker Ryan Kerrigan (hand) were also limited.

Corner Bashaud Breeland (hamstring), defensive end Jason Hatcher (knee), center Kory Lichtensteiger (neck) and tight end Anthony McCoy (not injury related) were all absent from Wednesday's session for the Redskins.
