Malcolm Mitchell Doubtful; Cyrus Jones, Danny Amendola Out Vs. Dolphins

BOSTON (CBS) -- Patriots receiver Malcolm Mitchell was once again missing from practice on Friday and is doubtful for Sunday's game against the Dolphins in Miami.

Mitchell was held out of practice all week with a knee injury he suffered last Saturday against the New York Jets. The injury does not appear to be serious, and keeping him out of practice (and likely Sunday's regular season finale) could just be the Patriots taking a cautious approach with their rookie receiver.

If Mitchell does not play, that would open the door for newcomer Michael Floyd to bump up to the No. 3 spot on New England's receiver depth chart.

Rookie corner Cyrus Jones (knee) and receiver Danny Amendola (ankle) have both been ruled out for Sunday's game.

Tight end Martellus Bennett (ankle/shoulder), quarterback Tom Brady (thigh), linebacker Dont'a Hightower (knee) and special teams captain Matthew Slater (foot) were all limited on Friday and are listed as questionable for Sunday's game.

Miami quarterback Ryan Tannehill (knee) has been ruled out, while linebacker Jelani Jenkins (knee) and corner Bryon Maxwell (ankle) are both doubtful.
