Patriots Injury Report: Shane Vereen Sick, Questionable vs. Bears

BOSTON (CBS) -- Patriots running back Shane Vereen has never faced off against his younger brother, and an illness may keep him out from their first meeting Sunday afternoon at Gillette Stadium.

Vereen missed Friday's practice with an illness, and is one of seven Patriots listed as questionable for Sunday's matchup with the Chicago Bears. The game would be the first time he and his brother Brock, a safety on the Bears, have competed against each other on the football field.

Also listed as questionable for Sunday are offensive linemen Bryan Stork and Dan Connolly. Stork has missed the last two games, while Connolly missed last Thursday's game against the Jets, as the two Tom Brady protectors deal with concussion symptoms.
