The Patriots currently own the top spot in the AFC overall, with the 11-3 Bengals close behind.
"I'd say to be 12-2 is a good record," Tom Brady said after the victory on Sunday. "I know it's not perfect. There are certainly a lot of things we could do better, but it's good to be 12-2."
The Patriots play their final two regular-season games on the road, first at the Jets in Week 16 and then at the Dolphins in Week 17.
The Patriots will host a divisional round playoff game on the weekend of Jan. 16 and 17 at Gillette Stadium.
