A handful of die-hard fans waited out in the cold to welcome the players back and thank them for another exciting season.
Season ticket-holder Ellie Letourneau held a sign recognizing kicker Stephen Gostkowski, who missed a crucial extra point in the first quarter.
"Just show them, 'Patriots Forever'," Letourneau said. "As long as they know there are people out here who care, I think that's good."
