Patriots Return To Foxboro After Heartbreak In Denver

FOXBORO (CBS) – The Patriots are back home in New England following a tough loss out in Denver.

The team's buses rolled into Gillette Stadium at about 1:30 Monday morning, just hours after a heartbreaking defeat in the AFC Championship game.

A handful of die-hard fans waited out in the cold to welcome the players back and thank them for another exciting season.

Season ticket-holder Ellie Letourneau held a sign recognizing kicker Stephen Gostkowski, who missed a crucial extra point in the first quarter.

"Just show them, 'Patriots Forever'," Letourneau said. "As long as they know there are people out here who care, I think that's good."
