BOSTON (CBS) -- As the Patriots prepare for Sunday's game against the Vikings, here are a few bits of news and notes.
- This is the ninth time in New England team history that the Pats will start their first two games on the road.
- The Patriots have an 11-game winning streak against the NFC North. It's the longest current streak any NFL team has against another division.
- The Vikings will be playing at TCF stadium, the home of the University of Minnesota football team for this season and the next one.
- The last time the Pats played at a college stadium was 2002, when they played the Bears at the University of Illinois.
- This will be the 12th time the Pats play the Vikings, and the Patriots hold a 7-4 career record against them.
- Since 2001, the Pats have a 42-10 record against the NFC in regular season games.
- Tom Brady fell to 11-2 as a Week 1 starter last week.
- Rob Gronkowski has caught at least one pass in all 51 regular-season games that he's played in.
- Julian Edelman has now seven straight games with at least six receptions
- Edelman has returned 109 punts for 1,332 yards during his career. He is first in team history and fourth in NFL history with a 12.2 average
- Matthew Slater is one of 10 sons of NFL Hall of Famers to be drafted in NFL history.
- Chandler Jones has 17.5 sacks in his first two season with the Patriots. Only Garin Veris (21) and Chris Slade (18.5) have had more.
- The Pats have finished in the top 10 in offense for seven straight seasons.
