Patriots' 2015 NFL Draft Picks: A Complete List

BOSTON (CBS) -- A busy three days of drafting wrapped up for the Patriots late Saturday afternoon, when the Patriots made their final selection late in the seventh round of the 2015 NFL Draft.

In all, the Patriots made 11 selections, which is the most they've made in a year since 2012. In the Bill Belichick era, the Patriots have averaged roughly nine picks per year, so they went slightly over the norm.

Here's a brief snapshot of the players selected by the Patriots in the 2015 NFL Draft.

1. Malcom Brown, DL, Texas (1st round, 32nd overall)

 "You guys drafted me, so you're about to get the best player you've ever drafted, so just be ready for when I touch the field."

2. Jordan Richards, S, Stanford (2nd round, 64th overall)

"As a player, I think I play fast and physical and that kind of touches all aspects of the game, whether it's [special] teams or defense. And as a person, I think I'm a smart player and I think I'm easily coachable and that I just want to learn and be the best football player I can be, so an organization like the Patriots, I'm going to try to go there and be a sponge and soak up as much as I can from teammates and coaches and somehow contribute to the success of this organization."

3. Geneo Grissom, DL, Oklahoma (3rd round, 97th overall)

"I just want to be somebody that the team can count on, somebody that obviously the coaches see something in me and I want to make sure I make sure that they are happy with their decision."

4. Trey Flowers, DL, Arkansas (4th round, 101st overall)

"There were calling me a tweener, linebacker, edge rusher, defensive end, and I'm just glad that I can show that versatility and just be open to any type of scheme whether it's 4-3, 3-4, whether it's standing up or hand in the dirt, I'm open to anything."

5. Tre Jackson, G, Florida State (4th round, 111th overall)

"I feel like I'm a good player. Whatever I'm needed to do, I feel like I can do."

6. Shaq Mason, OL, Georgia Tech (4th round, 131st overall)

"I always have a competitive edge. The salty and tough – that's pretty accurate because I mean, going into every situation on the football field, somebody has to win and somebody has to lose. That's my mindset each and every play, so I bring that to the table each and every play."

7. Joe Cardona, LS, Navy (5th round, 166th overall)

"Right now I'm prepared to be the best football player I can be for the New England Patriots and the best naval officer I can be. Whatever duty I'm doing at the time I'm doing it, I'm just prepared to do my best."

8. Matthew Wells, LB, Mississippi State (6th round, 177th overall)

"I don't really know. Whatever they want me to play, that's the position I'll play. I don't really know. Whatever position they have for me, that's what I'm willing to do."

9. A.J. Derby, TE, Arkansas (6th round, 202nd overall)

"I think every tight end needs to learn, and I have a long way to go. I've only played one year. I'm going to try to do anything I can – if it's on special teams, if it's on offense – I'll do anything the coaches ask me to do."

10. Darryl Roberts, CB, Marshall (7th round, 247th overall)

"It's a blessing. All you can ask for is a chance and a shot to just go do what you love to do. I'm just honored that they even took a chance on me to come to New England and play."

11. Xzavier Dickson, LB, Alabama (7th round, 253rd overall)
