Overdose Leads To Bank Robbery Arrest In Manchester, NH

MANCHESTER, NH (CBS) – A bank robbery suspect was arrested after she overdosed on heroin in Manchester, New Hampshire Tuesday morning, according to police.

The victim of the overdose, Melissa Boucher, was rushed to Elliot Hospital. A police officer at the hospital immediately noticed she matched the description of the suspect who robbed the Members First Union bank on Bridge Street about an hour earlier.

Police eventually identified and charged Boucher with the unarmed bank robbery. She was taken into custody after she was released from the hospital and is being held on $30,000 cash bail.

An arrest warrant has also been issued for 30-year-old Derek Potocki, of Manchester, NH, for his alleged involvement in the bank robbery.
