Man Charged With Murder After Manchester, NH, Nightclub Stabbing

MANCHESTER, N.H. (CBS) – Police arrested a suspect after a man was killed during a stabbing inside a New Hampshire nightclub.

New Hampshire Attorney General Joseph Foster and Manchester Police Chief David Mara said 29-year-old Manchester resident Darrell Robinson died after being rushed to the hospital with a stab wound suffered inside Club Drynk on Old Granite Street.

The stabbing took place around 1 a.m. Saturday morning.

Witnesses told police Robinson was assaulted by another patron in the club.

Police identified Joel Martin, 26, of Manchester as a suspect. They issued a warrant for his arrest on a charge of second degree murder.

Boston police officers located Martin and arrested him after he was discharged from a Boston hospital.

Martin is expected to be arraigned as a fugitive from justice on Monday in Boston Municipal Court.

On Thursday afternoon, Drynk posted an event poster for Friday night's "Flip Flop Friday Spring Kick Off Party."

The photo was posted with the comment "Who wants to make some bad decisions tomorrow night? Lol"

Manchester police said there were multiple people inside Club Drynk that may have seen the stabbing and recorded it with their cell phones.

Club patrons who may have evidence of the stabbing are asked to contact Manchester police.

Officers remained on scene Saturday morning investigating the fatal stabbing. They were searching for evidence in multiple locations on Old Granite, Elm and Cedar Street.
