3 Seriously Injured After Falling Off Ladder At Norwood Apartment Complex
NORWOOD (CBS) -- Three people were seriously injured after falling about 25 feet off a ladder at a Norwood apartment complex Friday. The fire department said it happened in the 400 block of Buckminster Drive in the Windsor Garden apartment complex around 11 a.m.
"I just saw a bunch of men on the grass. The policemen and firemen were all swarmed around them," said tenant Jasmine Nazeri.
Neighbors said the men were cleaning the gutters at The Commons At Windsor Gardens when some of them tumbled to the ground.

"At this time, we believe they fell from a height of approximately 25 feet," said Norwood Fire Chief George Morrice. "One individual in serious conditions was medflighted to Mass General Hospital. The second serious individual was ground transported to Boston Medical Center."
For hours after the accident, an official from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) walked the scene with the town's building inspector, investigating the accident.
"I mean, I hope everybody's OK. It was really scary to watch. My thoughts and prayers go out to their families," Nazeri said.
