Northern Lights Put On A Show In New England
MAINE (CBS) – Parts of the northeast got quite a show in the night sky late Tuesday.
Shades of green and purple from the aurora borealis could be seen in Maine from the area of Sugarloaf Mountain to York Beach.

The dazzling colors could also be seen in upstate New York.

And it wasn't just the United States that got to see them. Photos also show the northern lights on full display in Sweden.
