Video Shows Man Running From Shooting Near Northeastern Campus

BOSTON (CBS) – Police are hoping to identify a "person of interest" seen on surveillance video running from the scene of a shooting near the Northeastern University campus.

The shooting took place Tuesday around 4:30 p.m. on Huntington Ave. outside what Police Commissioner William Evans called a "federal pre-release center" or halfway house.

Two men allegedly were targeting someone who lives at the facility. The victim was shot three times, suffering life-threatening injuries.

On Friday, Boston Police released video of a man running from the scene shortly after the shooting.

Police would like to speak to the man, who is considered a person of interest in the investigation.
