NightSide - Time To End Common Core?
BOSTON (CBS) - The Common Core state standards were intended to help raise the bar and improve our struggling education system across the country. But, despite the fact that most states have adopted the standards, they have not been well received by the public. Some argue that teachers are not using the standards to their full potential, while others believe the standards are unnecessary and cumbersome, addressing the wrong problems. Donna Colorio and Michael Sentance are part of End Common Core MA, a group dedicated to getting rid of the current state standards.
