BOSTON (CBS) - Law enforcement officers have always had a tough job protecting us and keeping us safe. But as our country becomes more racially polarized, and more hateful rhetoric is hurled at police officers, their job has become even tougher. How can we make sure police officers are safe to patrol and protect our communities? Is there a way we can strengthen the relationship between police officers and the neighborhoods they serve? Wellesley Police Chief and President of the International Association of Chiefs of Police Terrence Cunningham joins Dan in studio to discuss the issue.
