NHL Commissioner Upholds Brad Marchand's 6-Game Suspension
BOSTON (CBS) – NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman has upheld the six-game suspension given to Bruins forward Brad Marchand last week.
He received the lengthy suspension for punching Penguins goaltender Tristan Jarry in the head and high-sticking him in the helmet during a game on Feb. 8.
Marchand has already missed four games. He will be eligible to return next Thursday against the Seattle Kraken.
This is the second suspension for Marchand this season and the eighth of his career.
