NH Woman Found Dead In Crawl Space Was Strangled, Authorities Say

MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) — A body found in a New Hampshire apartment building crawl space has been identified as that of a woman who had been missing since September and whose roommate later killed himself.

The state attorney general's office say 57-year-old Sue Hutchinson was strangled with a ligature. Autopsy results confirm her death was a homicide.

Authorities said Thursday the investigation continues to focus on her roommate, 26-year-old Stephen Andrade, who killed himself in a motel room in Tewksbury, Massachusetts, on Oct. 6.

Hutchinson had been missing since Sept. 20. Her body was found on Sunday after relatives called police and reported a strange odor in her Manchester apartment.

Officials say they're investigating the circumstances leading up to Hutchinson's killing and Andrade's suicide.
