NH Man Charged With Killing Parents Held Without Bail

MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) — A man found in Florida 15 months after he was charged with killing his parents and setting fire to their home in Manchester has been jailed without bail following his arraignment.

Matthew Dion appeared via video Friday morning in Manchester District Court. Wearing a blue prison jumpsuit, he said nothing during the brief hearing. A probable cause hearing is set for June 19.

The 39-year-old Dion was captured June 3 in Florida after a manhunt that put him on the U.S. Marshals Service's most wanted list.

He is charged with two counts of second-degree murder in the deaths of 71-year-old Robert Dion and 67-year-old Constance Dion in March 2014.

He was arrested after a recent media campaign generated tips in Georgia and Florida.
