Classic Patriots Games Are Coming To YouTube
NEW YORK (CBS) – Patriots fans will be able to relive some of the most memorable games in team history this fall.
The NFL announced Friday that it's partnering with YouTube to put more football content on the popular video platform. That will include three of the most celebrated games for each of the league's 32 teams, set to be posted to the NFL's official YouTube channel before the start of the 2016 season.
The Patriots have had no shortage of classic games this century, including the infamous "Tuck Rule" win over the Raiders in 2002, memorable clashes between Tom Brady and Peyton Manning and several nail-biting Super Bowl wins and losses.
It hasn't yet been announced which vintage NFL games will be featured on YouTube.
In addition, fans can expect football highlights uploaded to YouTube while games are still in progress.
This is just the latest NFL push into the digital space. Last month, it was announced that next season's Thursday Night Football games will be live streamed on Twitter, in addition to airing on CBS and NBC.
