1 to 3 inches of snow coming to Massachusetts Tuesday
BOSTON - We're off to a very cold start to the week and there's a new round of snow coming to Massachusetts Tuesday.
There will be scattered snow showers from Tuesday morning through the late afternoon. Be prepared because there will be reduced visibility and slick travel.
We will begin to see the first flakes around 9 a.m. Prepare for at least 1-to-3 inches of snow by the time it's all over.
Conditions are expected to remain dangerous through the afternoon for the start of the evening commute Tuesday.
Temperatures will remain chilly throughout the week. The jet stream's position will remain low enough to maintain the frigid conditions.
Our current forecast includes several days in a row where temperatures don't make it above the freezing mark of 32 degrees.
