Next Chance...
We are in a holding pattern with nothing but cold through the weekend and occasional bouts of light snow or flurries.
But early next week a large temperature spread will set up in the East and the battle zone between very cold and very warm may settle near us resulting in stormy weather.
Storms thrive on these big temperature spreads over short distances and areas of low pressure usually travel within these zones.
The boundary will likely be very juicy and loaded with moisture with the low ejecting out of Deep South.
We will have to be on guard from late Sunday through Tuesday morning for the potential for sizable snowfall.
